A Wheel and a Prayer Weekly Schedule and Prayer Requests   For the week of August 22, 2010   Acts Chapter 3 Peter, in addressing those who were attracted by the healing of the lame beggar, frames the truth of the event and how it happened in the proper context of his listeners. He starts by saying it was not due to his power or godliness, but "the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob" who glorified Jesus his servant and by faith in his name this miracle happened. He then proceeds to teach again about the death and resurrection of Jesus. We also have an ample supply of "Green Lake 2010", a magazine of all the things do to in the Green Lake area, feel free to request several.   2.) John Lynch, the guest speaker at the FLD Fall Conference, October 18 & 19, has co-authored two books; Bo's Cafe and TrueFaced. If you would like to purchase a copy at our bulk price please let us know ($10 for Bo's Cafe and $8 for TrueFaced and we'll pay the shipping).
