Town & Country Ministry
Churches in rural communities are not just smaller versions of their city cousins. Rural communities have unique dynamics and social structures which pastors and churches need to recognize. The Forest Lakes District leadership has purposed to enable pastors and churches in smaller town and country settings to effectively carry out the Great Commission for the glory of God. To assist town and country pastors and churches, the FLD provides the following resources. Simply click on highlighted words to get to the appropriate information.
1. The Town & Country Connection. The Connection is an on-line forum where T & C pastors and leaders can interact, share experiences and insights, and find articles relevant to T & C ministry. To particpate in the forum, contact Don Price at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or Lee Smith at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
2. Town & Country Pastors and Wives Retreat. This retreat is held annually in January at various locations around Wisconsin. It gives the pastor and his wife an opportunity to fellowship with other T & C ministry couples, relax and receive teaching relevant to T & C ministry.
3. Archives of articles and studies on T & C ministry issues.
