FOREST LAKES DISTRICT NEWSLETTER

June 2010
This ezine is intended to give you some glimpses of what God is doing around the Forest Lakes District.  We hope you'll be encouraged to know that God is at work in and through our churches, and that you'll find some ideas and resources you can use in your own ministry.
In this issue, you'll find a few things that God is using around the FLD for community impact, plus a review of a book by an author who has motivated me to think more missionally.
We hope you enjoy this new format for our newsletter, and look forward to your contributions - stories about God at work in and through your church, that can be shared to encourage others.  You can send them anytime to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

 "Service is Worship"
Every Sunday morning many of us attend what we call "worship services," those once a week events that usually include a time of praise (songs and music) and a time of hearing God's word (sermon) along with a variety of other entities.
