Welcome to Church Health... 

               What is church health anyway?  Is it about caring for pastors in the FLD?   Is it dealing with the inevitable conflict situations that regularly arise in any organization?  While church health does include some elements of many initiatives, it is first and foremost about seeking to help our churches stay healthy, outward-focused and mission-centered.  (Churches are like us as individuals, if left to our own devices and drives we naturally drift away from Christ and His mission.)

              God has provided many resources.  We have been given the Great Companion, the Holy Spirit.   His ministry in our lives is a gift from God Himself and from our Savior.  I hope you have discovered the joy of walking minute by minute in the power and control of the Holy Spirit.  We have been given the Great Commandment.  It is this unconditional love of God that was poured out in our hearts at the moment of salvation that constrains us and keeps us going.  And we have been given the Great Commandment.  Our mission is, always has been, and always will be the command to “make disciples”.

              We have been given as well here in the FLD many gifted men and women who are anxious to share what God is teaching them.   My role here in the district was envisioned to be proactive in nature, as opposed to being reactive.  Much of my time is spent helping to foster relationships and providing opportunities for you to encourage and to be encouraged, to teach and to be taught, and to admonish and be admonished toward our goal of together multiplying healthy churches among all people.
